What Is A Nurse Visit?
A Nurse Visit is an alternative to a regular appointment with the practitioner. It is led by a registered nurse (RN) and appropriate for simple or straightforward problems that don't require a detailed evaluation by the APRN.
Here's a more detailed look at what a nursing visit entails:
Assessment:
The RN will evaluate the patient's health status, including vital signs, a focused assessment, and collect any specimens if needed.
Monitoring:
The RN will monitor the patient's condition, looking for changes or signs of improvement or deterioration.
Patient Education:
Patients and their families will be provided information on their conditions, possible treatment, and self-care techniques.
Coordination of Care:
The RN will work with the health practitioner to ensure a coordinated approach to care.

If your adult health concern requires further evaluation by the health practitioner or a prescription, additional fees could incur which will be communicated to you during your visit. If your dressing changes require any medication application or specialized dressing material, it is the responsibility of the patient to bring these with you to your visit.
